'The Young Americans' workshop coming to Harrisburg

A group called The Young Americans is coming to Harrisburg High School next month to host a unique three-day workshop with students.

The workshop brings a combination of teamwork and self confidence, using music as the tool.

Students will experience everything from singing and dancing to a full-stage performance.

"Our goal as Young Americans when we begin the workshop is to just open up a huge party, and our mindset throughout the workshop is that we're hosting this party for you while we are also teaching you how to sing and dance and those things, but that's really just secondary to the relationships that we make," promotion team member Anna Walker said.

The workshop is open to all high school students. It runs Oct. 28-30.
